Hi there!
Welcome to my web space. Not really much here, and I have not really updated it for decades. Just a few tidbits for people checking up on me. If you want to transfer files, use some of the links I used to navigate with, or something like that, you should back up to my index page, where you can also find my FTP directories. Not that I promise any of that is current or functional.
I live in Berkeley with my fiancée, Karin Ericsson. We used to have two cats. Karin got Någon when she was in college, and he lost a fight with cancer in February 1999, when he was 14 or so. Någon's name comes from a Swedish children's story, and means "someone" in Swedish. I got Squeak when I was in grad school and despite being a bit of a sickly beast he lived 21 years until April 2013. I should add pictures of the cats (and, hey, Karin and I) sometime.
I work at Sila Nanotechnologies (see address and link above) providing engineering and similar to support the development of next generation battery materials. Sila has a great team in several senses of "great team", so consider us if you're looking.
My parents were Rich and Arta Wilbanks. The verb tense there sucks. My oldest brother was Tyr. The tense there seriously sucks stagnant drainage ditch water. He married Liz and they have four children, Rebecca (1985), Sarah (1990), Benjamin (1992), and Daniel (1995). Liz still lives in Connecticut and the children have scattered a bit up and down the East Coast.. My next oldest brother Aaron and his wife Lynn Roberts live in Berkeley. My third brother Sigurd and his wife Erika Büky live in Dunedin, New Zealand. Maybe some pictures would be in order here.
I had some fish, which Karin's parents (Gunvor and Lars) gave to me, at work. The pictures of the fish are available on my fish page (the pictures are a total of 150K).
